EUDEV S.R.L. (hereinafter the “Data Controller”, “EUDEV”), pursuant to Article 13 of EU Regulation no. 2016/679 (hereinafter the “GDPR”), informs the Users (“Users”, “Data Subjects”) that their data will be processed in the following manner and for the following purposes:

  1. Information about the data processing

    The Data Controller processes the identification data communicated by the Users during the registration to the webinar organized by the Controller through a specific landing page.

    The landing page can trace the user's device data and technical information about the User’s network and browser.

    The User's Data may also be processed through the use of Cookies. For further information about the processing, please consult the Cookie Policy.

  2. Purpose and legal basis of the data processing

    Data processing is carried out by the Data Controller in the execution of its activities. In particular, the Data of the Data Subject will be processed for the following purposes:

    • a) allow the User to sign up for the webinar;
    • b) send messages and communications related to the webinar (i.e. inform the User about future webinars).
    • c) exercise the rights of the Data Controller (e.g. defence of legal claims);

    The legal grounds for the processing operations listed above are the following:

    • in relation to the purpose a) the processing is necessary for the fulfilment of contractual or pre-contractual obligations.
    • In relation to the purpose b), the legal basis is the legitimate interest of the Data Controller. The Controller may send you communications regarding upcoming webinars organized by the Data Controller, unless you exercise your opt-out (art. 130 c. 4 Privacy Code). The data subject may object at any time to the processing and no longer receive communications.
    • In relation to the purpose c), the legal basis is the legitimate interest of the Data Controller, i.e. exercising the rights of the Data Controller (such as defense of legal claims).

    The Users are free not to communicate the Data for the above-mentioned purposes. Failure to provide the Data, however, may make it impossible for the User to register for the webinar.

    In addition, the User's Data may be processed only with specific consent (art. 7 GDPR), for Marketing Purposes:

    • d) To receive emails and promotional communications about initiatives and projects organized by the Data Controller.

    The communication of the Data for Marketing purposes is optional. Therefore, the User may decide not to provide any data or subsequently deny the possibility of processing Data already provided: in this case, the User will not be able to receive offers relating to the Services offered by the Controller. The User may revoke the consent to the processing of Data at any time without affecting the lawfulness of the processing based on the consent before revocation.

    Finally, we employ Matomo Analytics (https://matomo.org/privacy-policy/) n order to monitor and analyze - in aggregate form - website visits and actions conducted by users on the site.

  3. Storage period

    Personal data will be kept for the time necessary to fulfil the purposes indicated in this privacy policy (i.e. until the webinar series ends).

    The Data Controller will store for ten years, as required by the Civil Code, copies of correspondence of legal and commercial relevance.

    Finally, the user's personal data may be kept for the time necessary to ensure the defense in court or to prosecute any abuse.

  4. Communication, dissemination and transfer of Data

    User’s data will not be disclosed but may be made accessible, where necessary for the provision of services or by law:

    1. to employees and consultants of the Controller in Italy and abroad, as authorized subjects to the processing of personal data and/or system administrators;
    2. to third party companies or other that perform outsourcing activities on behalf of the Data Controller, as external data processors.
  5. Data Transfer

    The User’s Data are stored on servers located within the European Union, managed by third party companies duly appointed as Data Processors.

    For specific purposes, the User’s Data may be transferred by the Controller to countries outside the European Union (EU). The Data will be transferred exclusively to countries considered “adequate” - and therefore “safe” - by the European Commission or to companies that have adhered to specific international standards (e.g., Standard Contractual Clauses).

  6. Rights of the Data Subject

    The Data Subject may exercise, in relation to the Data Processing, the rights provided for by the GDPR (articles 15-22), including:

    • a) Access rights - receive confirmation that the User’s Data is held by the Data Controller, and access its content;
    • b) Right of rectification - update, modify and/or correct the User’s Data;
    • c) Right to be forgotten and right to limitation - request the cancellation of Data and/or limitation of the Data Processing if the User believe that the Data is being processed in ways that do not comply with the present Privacy Notice;
    • d) Right to object - oppose the processing of the User’s Data;
    • e) Submit a complaint to the relevant Supervisory Authority - the Guarantor for the protection of Personal Data (accessible on www.garanteprivacy.it) in case of violation of the regulations on the protection of personal data;
    • f) Right to Data Portability - receive an electronic copy of the Data concerning the User (when such Data has been rendered in the context of the contract) and request that the Data in question be transmitted to another data controller.
  7. Children’s Privacy

    The user must be at least 18 years old to register for the webinar.

    We do not knowingly collect information from children under the age of 18. If we discover that a child under the age of 18 has provided us with his/her personal information, we will delete the information collected. If the User knows of any users using the Services who are under the minimum age required to use the Services, please contact us at fabio@eudev.io
